Week Two!
I haven't been posting as much as I would like to... but it seems like I'm always doing something, or sleeping XD or I just plain forget about my blog :P sorry guys XD I'll try harder :)... I'm going to see if I can post a picture for those of you who don't have facebook :) If I can't get it to work, anyone can view all of my pictures here : http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=214032&id=701853157&l=f0dc5caa64.... that means click it XD
ANYWAYSSSSS... this week was very hard, but has been the best so far, if that makes any sence... the week started out very very very difficult, but now things are great... The girls like to get me to braid their hair as I'm walking out the door to catch the train XD :P and we've made cookies, and have played a bunch of games... including my fav... Monopoly... woot woot.. see how excited I get about this game? We've also played the Austrian version of "Dutch Blitz" :P Tasha, again I say, you would be very proud with these small kids :)... side note XD they call it Ligretto :) which is harder then you think to pronouce when you win :)
My class is pretty amazing, they are very welcoming :) and their english is pretty decent... some times I just sit there and correct their grammer in my head, but I haven't even tried to talk to them in German yet so I can't judge them :)
Today my class took me and Congo boy, Chris, out for a tour of the city, which are the most recent photos on facebook... all the kids kept saying, "It's so small, there is nothing ever to do" I just laughed.. then told them about Comox...
OK before I just typed that last sentence, my host mom made a lunch desert... o.O YUMM!! it was fresh bread, with out the crust, still warm, but not fully cooked, like... I guess,.... and it had a whipcream pudding that you drippleon top...om nom nom! it was so good XD :P
I noticed today, what I need more clothes... my jeans are tight... >.< haha So tomorrow I am going shopping! :) with 2 girls in My class :P they are going to look for dresses for "prom" because the students here dont screw it up! cough cough... :) smiles... anyways I'm pretty excited for that, and I hope to start looking for a Grad dress XD :P haha who goes to Europe on their grad year and has a european grad dress... I will :).. hopefully........ I think thats enough for today!

Week one
I've been here for a week now... and I have a little schedule.... so here it is....
My alarm wakes me up at 5:oo am every weekday and I press snooze XD :P I am then woken up ten minutes later and I roll over and grab my computer.... I turn it on and talk to people for a bit about 45 minutes :) and get dressed while this happens, as well as everything else upstairs... so maybe longer than that XD I am down stairs at about 625 or 630... then I pack some snacks (theres no time to eat a full lunch) have a glass of milk and then a small piece of bread, because it's hard for me to eat that early in the morning :) I then leave and walk about 2 maybe 3 minutes to the train stop. The train I take leaves at 6:56 which gets my into Innsbruck about 720ishh... i then stroll around a bit... look around, making my way to the bus stop... I take what ever bus comes with an O on it :) get off with all the other kids... and walk 5 minutes to school. School starts at 7:55... and depending on the day, depends on what classes and how long the day is...
I then walk to another bus stop that takes me to the main train station... I take another train back home... eat a nice big lunch :) then take a nap and get up about 30 minutes later... and get up and have a shower... then I find something to do, its hard some times though..... it can be boring sometimes... I then talk to peter at lunch which is 840- till 930 my time, and if my dads home I talk to him... I am in bed at this point and getting ready for bed XD :) andd that's pretty much my day! :)
hey guys, don't be afraid to comment :)

Dear Blog, >.< ugh…. Positive notes for the day… had a crepe, school was pointless… so there for it was easy. Got a student planner sponsored by none other than the store H&M… :P its weird, and all in German of course…. Most likely going to a youth trip in October…. And going to Frankfurt on Friday (skipping school) to meet up with Zoe… could be staying one or 2 nights… new pictures are uploaded on facebook…. Oh and I had a great meeting with a massive spider… scared me so much….about the size of a quarter and made a giant nest on my balcony door… so I can’t go out with out getting covered in a giant cobweb. Bleck. Yeah…
Oh and looking to get a “handy” aka cell.

Schule.....
I've dreaded this day ever since I knew I was going away..... Thinking about sitting in a class... knowing NO ONE! understanding NOTHING! Its a great feeling you know XD :P hahaha...... Yes I am a worry wart... but really.... How would you feel being so far away from home? Being totally out of your comfort zone? then when you go home... you don't understand anything? :P its hard... but great.....
School was... BIG :) very big.. :P My class is called 7a... it is the language part of the school for grade 12s... (they go up to grade 13) there are 18 kids... and believe it or not I am not the only that doesn't speak German !! :O there is a boy... who sits beside me and hes from CONGO! :P yeah thats right! not only am I meeting Austrians, I am meeting Africans! :)
After school, a few students invited me out for a drink... which was very nice... it was cold and rainy and yuck... >.< so we went to a cafe called Mannah, which is a sweet treat normally.... and Peter you were right... they were fighting over me :P haha >.<
they very much enjoyed my nail... for those of you who didn't see my nails... they all together made a Canada flag :) they were amazing I did it myself.... just let them wait for my craftyness!!! :D

MORE THAN HALF WAY THERE!!!
I am sitting on a plane, provided by Lufthansa, in seat 45H…. yeah a lot of seats right….. there are only 2 seat that have a higher number… So what I’m trying to say is that I am ALL THE WAY in the back J yays? I think not…..
I’m actually very surprised with the service J I get 2 drink every 30 min, and a free dinner…. Not that I go the choice of what dinner I wanted… :P since I’m in the back…. There was supposed to be 2 choices XD :P the first was chicken that sounded really really good, and the second was pasta…. For most of you who know me, I am not a big pasta fan…. Oh well… the meal actually wasn’t half bad! I actually kind of enjoyed it J
As I type this the plane is just finished flying over Greenland. It’s weird for me to think that I’m actually not going to be in Canada with friends and family for 137 days… My nerves are going, but that’s not unusual :P but I am also very very very excited to meet my host family, and get immersed in the Austrian culture and history. J I feel the need to say thank you again for everyones support <3 your guys are my rock, my solid foundation.
Just a few facts about the plane quickly:
the temperature outside the plane is -55 :P
the temperature outside the plane is -55 :P
We are going somewhere around 550mph! (holy smokes)
At a altitude of 35000
Distance left 3079 km
Will arrive in Frankfurt 2:53 am Germany time…..
And time remaining is 3 hours and 24 minutes!! I’ve been in this spot for 6 hours!! Ive been up for13 hours with much more ahead of me…. I’m surviving on 3 and a half hours of sleep…. I am very tired… but can’t seem to sleep… hence why i'm writing now XD
Another quick point about the plane and being kinda totally out of my comfort zone…. >.< everything is said in German first, then attempted to be spoken in English… I find it quiet funny J just the way they pronounce things. By they I mean stewardess. J
This plane was late, so I am hoping I will have enough time to put this on my blog before I board my final flight!!!
Love you all and miss you to!
Katelynn Sadler- 559 bc time’
Here we go!!!
I'm currently sitting in the Vancouver Airport, waiting for my flight at departs at 10:00am to Calgary, then at 2:15 I have a 9 and a half hour flight to Frankfurt Germany, then my final flight, to my final destination leaves at 11:20 pm for and hour and 15 minute.... boy do I have a day ahead >.< when I land, I will meet up with my new family for the next 137 days.... AND THEN !!! I GET TO GO TO SCHOOL!!! I'll be meeting my headmaster, and talking about what it will be like at school.... then I think.... I'll go home and sleep XD then eat, then unpack XD hopefully.....
I want to make a shout out to all my wonderful friends and family! They are the reason I am who I am, and I am where I am! I love you guys!
Yesterday was my last full day in Canada, so my friends and I had a "Bon Voyage" party... although... it should be said in German I would think... but I don't know how to say that in German, so I will leave it was is.
I introduced my friends to my exchange partner, and for all i was aware he will fit in very very very nicely :)
Thanks again to every that made this experiance possible for me :)
I am off to find some yummy food!!!
